Admission Process

  • Eligibility Criteria for Diploma in Engineering: 10th with 35% marks (33% in case of candidates belonging to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe category or Kashmiri migrants category). Candidate must be passed in Maths and Science subjects.

  • Eligibility Criteria for Diploma in engineering (Lateral Entry): 10+2/ITI (2 years)

Basis of Admission: Rank of Lateral Entry Diploma Entrance Test conducted by BTEUP.

  • JEECUP Counselling Procedure:

  1. Online counselling is conducted in approx. 6-7 rounds.

  2. Candidates will have to register with the JEECUP roll number and password.

  3. The Candidate will have to pay a certain fee as a counselling fee through SBI MOPS (Debit card/ Credit Card/ Net banking etc.)

  4. After successful submission of the fee, the candidate will be allowed to fill institute choice.

  5. The colleges and the course will appear for the candidate to be filled in order of their preference and lock their choices.

  6. There will be no limit of choice filling for the candidate.

  7. Candidate will be able to download their seat allotment result by entering their roll no. and date of birth.

  8. If the candidate is allotted acollege they have to submit approx. Rs. 3000/- for seat acceptance.

  9. The candidate will have to report at the Reporting Centre for document verification. Documents required at the time of Document Verification are listed below:

  10. JEECUP Counselling Letter

  11. JEECUP Admit card.

  12. JEECUP Rank card

  13. 10th marksheet and passing certificate

  14. 12th marksheet and passing certificate

  15. Valid Domicile Certificate

  16. Character Certificate

  17. Migration Certificate

  18. Valid Caste Certificate

  19. 4 passport-size photographs

  20. 2 sets of self-attested photocopies of original documents.

  • Admission Procedure after Document Verification:

  1. After Document Verification, the candidate has to submit approx. Rs. 7000/- (zero fee in case of SC/ST candidates) within 24 hours of document verification. Fees is submitted on the candidate’s online portal.

  2. After fee submission, the candidate should download and print their admission letter, seat allotment letter, and both fee payment receipts.

  3. The candidate has to make a file of the following documents:

  4. Admission letter

  5. Seat allotment letter

  6. Document verification letter

  7. Fee payment receipts

  8. Admit card

  9. Rank/Score card

  10. 10th marksheet and passing certificate

  11. 12th marksheet and passing certificate

  12. Valid Domicile, Income, Caste (if applicable) certificates with their NET copies.

  13. Original Transfer Certificate (with counter signature from District Inspector of Schools if the candidate belongs to a District other than the college’s district). Gap certificate is to be produced if the candidate has a certain gap in their education period.

  14. Original Medical Certificate

  15. Original Character Certificate (valid upto 6 months)

  16. 6 passport size photographs

  17. 1 cardboard file cover

After bringing these documents the candidate has to submit a college admission fee. Then, the candidate shall be able to fill out the offline college admission form.
